SOME say love is blind. Other's say rebound-love would not last. Well what is love then?
BEING in love is the most beautiful thing in the world. The feeling is unexplainable. Sort of like magic. There's the butterflies in the stomach feeling whereby you feel the rush envelop in the stomach. A good feeling nevertheless, like a mini explosion. The feeling of being alive.
Falling in love with someone is no easy task. It takes time to develop those mushy feelings for someone. It is usually said that having a close relationship, given time can trigger some of those feelings. A relationship in this case would mean friendship.
Good friends can eventually become boyfriend or girlfriend material. It's just the matter of understanding the other's needs and giving respect. Attraction is key here. There's no disguising the will of attraction for the significant other.
When friends makes sacrifices and goes through lengths just to be with that special someone. It's either because of goodwill or there's something more. Maybe goodwill is too cliche of a word here. Don't get me wrong but as human beings we can sense when a person is doing a gesture out of love or just for friendship. There's always that feeling of warmth, but the mystery of the heart often cloud our judgement of reasoning.
What reasoning you might ask? Love with your heart and not with your head! Yes and so comes the part where we learn to love someone for who they are and not for the simplicities of deeds. Well being friendly and helping out a friend in need is not sinful or a wrong thing to do.
But when you actually care for someone so much, it doesn't matter anymore.
Somebody close to me once said "When your are in love, looks don't matter anymore." Am I blind then? Is it a blind love. Definitely not I think. Looks definitely play an initial part during the courtship period but that criteria eventually fades away and when looks don't matter anymore the head stops thinking and the heart takes over.
Kinda dramatic if you ask me.
As for me I hope that love treats me kind, this time around...
